WHAT IS MAPPING MEANING?

Mapping Meaning is a collaborative project between humanities educator Doug Healy and art educator Alison Safford.  In this project we explore not just our love for maps, but how maps tell stories about history, politics, individual and share experiences, and so much more. We use the examination and creation of maps to teach students to be culturally, socially and visually literate.
